Mary Suzanne Hollyfield, 66, of Coffeyville passed away Monday October 1, 2012 at her home.
She was born on September 19, 1946, to Mary Morine "Sally" (BeDell) and Franklin Leon Potter at Norfolk, VA. She grew up and attended schools in Norfolk.
On November 18, 1967 she married Terry Hollyfield in Coffeyville. After marriage they made their home in Coffeyville, where they raised their children.
Suzanne worked for Twigs Florist as a Floral Designer for 10 years. She truly had a gift for creating beautiful flower arrangements.
She went to the Tyro Christian Church. She enjoyed doing ancestry for both her and her husband families; she loved gardening and anything that had to do with flowers. But the thing she loved most was being with her family.
Survivors include her husband Terry Hollyfield of the home, two daughters, Brook Ashlock and her husband Michael of Grove, OK and Kaci Hollyfield of Coffeyville; one son, Brian Hollyfield of Wichita; one sister, Carolyn Yvonne Salano and Husband Danny of Rapid City, SD; two brothers, David Leon Potter of Rapid City, SD, and Derrick Potter and wife Donna of Greenbrier, AR; Four grandchildren, Haylie Hollyfield of Independence, Hope Ashlock of Grove, OK, Tagan and Drake Hollyfield of Wichita.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Deborah Potter in 2007, one great niece, Blake Bertie of Independence in 2007.
Memorial service will be Saturday October 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church.
Friends may sign the register book on Friday, October 5, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
