Sedan - Terry Wayne Myers, 54, of Sedan, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2012 at the Pleasant Valley Manor in Sedan.
He was born on February 1, 1958 in Winfield, Kansas to Leroy C. Myers and Nora Mae (Shull) Myers. He attended school and received his GED in Cisco, Texas.
He worked as a Truck Driver for Groendyke Transport for many years driving over the road and throughout the United States.
He is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Pruett of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Linsey Myers of Dewey, Oklahoma; one son, Michael Myers of Manhattan, Kansas; his mother, Nora Myers of Sedan, Kansas; nine grandchildren, Maegan Renfroe, Jayden Pruett, Christopher Myers, Mason Lane, Destiny Lane, Zachary Pruett, Dominic Beeman, Shelby Beeman, and Dakotah Pruett; also numerous aunts and uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Myers, and his grandparents, Perlena and Henry Shull and Roy and Eva Myers.
A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at the Greenwood Cemetery in Sedan with Hospice Chaplain Mike Graham officiating. Cremation has taken place.
