Stacy Dawn Wade, 44, of Coffeyville passed away Monday August 20, 2012 at her home.
She was born on February 6, 1968 to Clete and Cheryl (Lee) Neal at Coffeyville. She grew up and attended grade school and middle school in Coffeyville, and graduated from Lenapah High School. After high school she went on to Cosmetology school.
Stacy married Lonnie Rogers, together they had two sons. They later divorced. On August 8, 2003 she remarried Steve Wade in Coffeyville. They made their home in the Coffeyville and South Coffeyville area.
Stacy had various jobs, she cut hair and provided home health care, but her favorite job was being a mom to Dylan and Dallas Rogers, who were very active in their school and sport activities.
When Stacy was younger she was baptized by her grandfather Rev. Harold Neal. She was a member of the VFW and was a big supporter of the Oklahoma Union Athletics. She loved spending time with her family and loved watching her sons participate in sports.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Wade of the home; two sons, Dylan Rogers of Coffeyville and Dallas Rogers of Coffeyville; mother and stepfather, Cheryl and Jim Moore of South Coffeyville, OK; father and stepmother, Clete and Patsy Neal of Claremore, OK; three brothers, Jim Moore of Tulsa, OK and Bill Moore of Ponca City, OK, and Kelly Reavis of Allen, TX; her grandmothers, Vera Hepner of Coffeyville, Bonnie Neal of Fairland, OK and Bert Lee of Grand Lake, OK.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday August 24, 2012 at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Randall Terrill officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville.
Friends may call on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
After the service on Friday the family would like to let friends know that they will be gathering at Cheryl and Jim Moore's house for anyone who would like to stop by.
The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
