Obituary of Robert S. Lee

Coffeyville - Robert S. Lee, 62, of Coffeyville, passed away Sunday August 19, 2012 at his home. He was born February 19, 1950 to Robert and Maxine (Smith) Lee in Long Beach, California. He grew up and attended schools in California. On November 16, 1990 he married Linda McKenzie in California. In 1992 they moved to Coffeyville, were they made their home. Robert worked as a truck driver for many years; he also worked various jobs throughout the years. He was a member of the Holy Name Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He loved animals, he enjoyed rising goats and small farming, and he also enjoyed woodwork. He is survived by his wife Linda Lee of the home; one step daughter, Lori Henry and husband Dickie of Coffeyville; one granddaughter and three step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Holy Name Catholic Church with Father Ben Nguyen officiating. Inurnment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Coffeyville. Friends may sign the register book on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
