Coffeyville - Frances Louise Lawson, 82, of Bartlesville, OK, formerly of Independence and Sedan, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at her home in Bartlesville. She was born November 21, 1931, at Sedan, to Perry William and Frances Lizena (Gorrell) Ellinwood. Louise grew up and attended school in Sedan, graduating from Sedan High School. Louise made her home and raised her family in Sedan. She owned and operated Rips Lunch in Sedan Kansas. Later she became a Certified Nurse's Aide working in the Independence area where she retired On June 11, 1976, she married George F. Lawson at Miami, OK. Following their marriage they made their home in Independence. George preceded her in death on June 2, 2010. After he husband's death she continued to make her home in Independence until moving to Bartlesville three years ago Survivors include two daughters, Susan Fienen and husband Doug of Independence, and Kay Teague and husband Danny of Bartlesville, OK; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one son, Roger Nelson. Following Louise's wishes cremation has taken place and private family inurnment will take place at a later date in the Ellinwood Family lot in Greenwood Cemetery at Sedan.
