CoffeyviGreg Caulkins
Greg M. Caulkins, 53, of rural Coffeyville passed away Monday morning (March 17, 2008) at his home.
He was born April 26, 1954 at Coffeyville to Wallace D. and Jessie Clara (Martin) Caulkins. He grew up and attended school in Coffeyville graduating from Field Kindley High School in 1972.
Greg was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving from 1975 until receiving his Honorable Discharge in 1977.
Following his discharge he returned to Coffeyville where he worked as an Operating Engineer at Farmland Refinery until retiring for health reasons in 2000.
On August 21, 2007 he married Susan K. Kirchesh in Coffeyville.
He was a member of the International Association of Operating Engineers.
Survivors include his wife, Susan of the home; one son, Keith Caulkins of Coffeyville; one daughter, Katie Caulkins of Coffeyville; two step-daughters, Kerri Horton of Claremore, OK, and Katie Horton of Coffeyville; two brothers, Ronald Caulkins of Dearing, and Verlyn Caulkins of Coffeyville; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday (March 19, 2007) at the Spring Hill Cemetery north of Coffeyville with Rev. Gerald Holden and Pastor Mike Graham officiating.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family will receive friends from 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.lle -
