Max Macario "Wheels" Reese, infant son of Matt and Sarah Reese of Pittsburg, KS, passed away Wednesday afternoon (June 27, 2012) at Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg.
Survivors include his parents, Matt and Sarah (Maples) Reese of the home, Maternal Grandparents, Scott and Deborah Maples of Coffeyville; Paternal Grandparents, Philip and Mary Reese of Coffeyville; Maternal Great-Grandmothers, Patti Maples of Coffeyville and Mary Schmidt of Coffeyville; and Paternal Great-Grandmother, Mary Alice Lorraine Long of Coffeyville.
He was preceded in death by his Maternal Great-Grandparents, Ron Maples and Chester Schmidt; and Paternal Great-Grandparents, Max Reese, Carmen Reese, Pauline Reese, and Woodrow Long.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Name Catholic Church in Coffeyville at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 3, 2012 with Father Mike Baldwin, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Pittsburg, KS, officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Coffeyville.
Family will receive friends at 9:00 a.m. at the Holy Name Catholic Church before the service.
Family suggests memorials to the Max Resse Memorial established at the Kansas Teacher Credit Union; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 N. Cline Rd., Coffeyville, KS 67337.
