Eric Dean Pitts, 50, of Coffeyville passed away Monday, June 18, 2012 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
He was born May 18, 1962 to Larry and Sharon (Kay) Pitts at Coffeyville. Eric grew up and attended schools in Coffeyville.
Rick was employed for many years as a sales representative in the automotive parts business . In his spare time he enjoyed playing the guitar.
He is survived by one daughter, Sharon Taberez of Van Buren, AR; one step-son. Eric Verratti of Coffeyville; two-step daughters, Erin Lee of Coffeyville and Michele Foster of Coffeyville; his mother and step father, Sharon and Harold Coons of Coffeyville; two brothers, Tim Pitts of Tyro, Dan Pitts of South Coffeyville, OK; one sister; Mary Thornbrugh of Bonners Ferry, ID two half-brothers, Michael Pitts and Christopher Pitts both of Osage City, KS; two step brothers; Mark Coons of Coffeyville and Michael Coons of Haysville, KS and five step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Theresa and his father.
A Graveside Memorial Service Celebrating Rick's life will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville.
Friends may sign the register book on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
