Obituary of Lester Eugene Moore

Sedan - Lester E. "Buster" Moore, age 55, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on September 16, 1956 to Paul M. Moore and Margaret Elizabeth (Kirchner) Moore in Sedan, Kansas. He was raised in Chautauqua County and attended school in Cedar Vale. He lived most of his life in and around Chautauqua County. He worked for many years as a truck driver for Frank Bill's Trucking Company in Severy. He also worked as a rancher. He enjoyed horses and playing pool. He is survived by five sons; Chad and wife Shelly Moore of Bridgeport, Texas, Heath and Vickie Moore of Rome, Texas, Jason and wife Amy Jacot of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, Justin Moore of Parsons, Kansas, and Dustin Moore of Sedan, Kansas; one daughter, Kimberly Baird of North Carolina; five brothers; Jim Moore of Sedan, Kansas, Howard W. and wife Christine Moore of Copper Cove, Texas, Alvin Moore of Sedan, Kansas, Gerald and wife Debbie Moore of Neodesha, Kansas, and Norman Moore of Emporia, Kansas; several grandchildren and nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by one brother Paul Earl Moore and his parents. Graveside services will be Friday, June 22, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Chautauqua, Kansas. Friends may call on Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Sedan.
