Obituary of Greg Davis

Coffeyville - Greg E. Davis went to be with his Lord and Saviour June 5, 2012 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. He was born March 27, 1978 to Ted and Deborra (Green) Davis in Lamar, Mo. Greg grew up in Caney, Ks and attended school there. Then he went to Coffeyville Community College. He graduated in 2000 with an Associate degree in sports. He worked as the Equipment manager for the CCC Raven football team and was known as "Big G". He also worked in the Maintenance Department at CCC. In June 2005 Greg went into Kidney failure. He is survived by his mother and step dad Greg and Debby Harper of Howard, Ks; his dad Ted Davis of Imboden, AR; one brother and his wife, Charlie & Amber Davis of Paragould, AR; two step-brothers Ben Davis of Imboden, AR, and Jesse Harper of Howard, Ks; one step sister Natasha Harper of Moline; his maternal grandma Dollie Green of Oklahoma City, OK; and several aunts and uncles, and also step dad Jimmy Cron of Caney, KS. Greg was preceded in death by his grandfather Claude Green. A celebration of his life will be Monday, July 2nd at 1:00 PM at the Coffeyville Community College Nellis Hall Gym. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials in Greg's memory to the Kidney Foundation or to help with funeral expense. Donations may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W.
