Obituary of Runold R. Hemman

Coffeyville - Runold R. Hemman, 87, of Coffeyville passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. He was born January 9, 1925 at Elliott, OK to Benjamin and Anna (Kassel) Hemman. When he was young his family moved to Montgomery County where he completed his education graduating from Tyro High School. In January 1955 he married Donna Rose Wright at Coffeyville. Following their marriage they made their on the family farm east of Coffeyville where Runold farmed and raised cattle. Mrs. Hemman preceded him in death on September 28, 1986. On November 14, 1988 he married Marcia Clough Stewart. Following their marriage they continued to live on the family farm. Runold was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, and served on the SEK Grain Board. Survivors include his wife, Marcia of the home; one daughter, DeeAnna Chase of Cataula, GA; one son, Raymond Hemman, of Hutchinson, KS; two step-sons, Wes Stewart of Coffeyville, and Jay Stewart of Dearing; one step-daughter, Sharon Polston of Haysville; two grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Donna, two brothers, and two sisters. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2012 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. Richard Peckman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville. Friends may call on Sunday, June 3, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the David W.
