Obituary of Nola Loretta Tickle

Coffeyville - Nola Loretta Tickle, 61, of Coffeyville passed away Wednesday (March 12, 2008) at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. She was born March 2, 1947 at Killeen, Texas to Arlest Melvin and Beulah (Cooper) Brakebill. She grew up attended school at Killeen. On February 15, 1966 she married Henry Lee Tickle at Belton, Texas. Following their marriage they made their home in Killeen until moving to Coffeyville in March 1995. Nola attended the Pentecostal Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing bingo. Survivors include her husband, Henry Tickle of the home; two sons, Melvin Tickle of the home, and Elvin and Latisha Tickle of South Coffeyville, OK; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one daughter, Theresa Lynn "Tee" Ellis on January 4, 2008. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday (March 17, 2008) at Emmanuel Chapel in South Coffeyville, OK, with Pastor Ted Rogers officiating. Private burial will be at a later date. Friends may call on Sunday (March 16, 2008) from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville is in charge of arrangements.
