Jimmie D. Sawyer, 59, of Coffeyville, passed away Wednesday May 23, 2012 at Medicalodge of Coffeyville.
He was born on June 15, 1952 to James and Alma (Work) Sawyers in Torrence, CA. Jimmie grew up and attended school in Torrence.
Jimmie was a brick layer and worked various bricking jobs for over 20 years. He retired in 2007.
He was a member of the Lewark Church of God.
He is survived by his companion Shirley Bell of Coffeyville, one daughter; Sara Renee Maroldi, one son; Collin Sawyers, two step-children; Lewis Bell and Victor Bell, and numerous grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Following his wishes cremation has taken and no services are planned at this time.
