David and all the Rea Family, My wife Cheryl & my sister Janie from Texas, stopped at your moms house yesterday (sat) on our "yearly" Coffeville memorial day Visit, drove into her drive , walked to the door, knocked, and waited for Esther to open the door, hug all of us and visit like we have for 40 years. since my Grandma Lutie Paul died in 73. A neighbor came over and told us your, mom died about a month ago! WE never knew, or we would have attended your mom's service! WE are stunned and saddened by your loss, and our "great family friend's" Passing. Your mom and dad helped me and my family get over our parents death many years ago. She came out to the cemetery when we buried susan in 2001. WE looked forward to our long family ritual of coming straight to Coffeyville and Esthers House First! WE loved your mom. call email or come by anytime. YOUR dad Loren and mom were "good people"

David & family: Please accept our deepest sympathies at the passing of your dear Mother. Our families were literally "across the street" neighbors for 41 years, from 1967 when were moved to 805 West 10th until 2008 when we brought Mom here to Leawood. She was truly a sainted woman, and will treasure many fond memories of her. I especially appreciate the treasured friendship that our two Mother's developed following the death of their spouses, spending hours together sewing, watching television, visiting in person. And many many more by telephone, even after Mom moved. I could always count of hearing about "whats new in Coffeyville" following their certain weekly phone call on Monday's at 9:00 am. May you always be blessed with the very finest memories of your very special Mother.
