Obituary of Annetta Sue Pyle

Sedan - Annetta Sue Pyle, 71, of Chautauqua, Kansas passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012 at her home in Chautauqua. She was born May 13, 1940, in Enid, Oklahoma to Tearl and Irma (Craun) Seabold. They lived in Oklahoma for a short time before moving to Idaho where she went to school. On May 16, 1956 she married Donald Lee Pyle in Tacoma, Washington. They lived in numerous places while he was in the military. She was preceded in death by her husband on September 9, 2000. In November of 2000 she moved from her home in Liberty, Missouri to be closer to her daughter in Chautauqua, Kansas. She loved working with people, crafts, puzzles, cooking, sewing, gardening, flowers, and especially liked volunteer work. She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, one son, and four brothers and sisters. She is survived by one daughter; Penny Pyle of Chautauqua, Kansas; one son, Randy and wife Jodi Pyle of Independence, Missouri; one sister, Lola Prescott of Idaho; one brother, Tearl Seabold of Mississippi; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. A Graveside service will be held Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. at the Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth, Kansas. The family has scheduled no visitation at this time. The family has suggested memorials to the Pleasant Valley Manor Activities Fund and those remembrances can be left in care of the David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 209 N. Douglas, Sedan, Kansas 67361.
