Coffeyville - Steven Lee Killion, 54, of Coffeyville passed away Thursday morning (March 6, 2008) at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. He was born November 5, 1953 at Coffeyville to Darrell Dean and Louise Evelyn (St. John) Killion. He grew up and attended school in Coffeyville, graduating from Field Kindley High School in 1972. Following high school he was employed at ACC in Independence for 8 years. He had been ill since 1981. Steve enjoyed watching and listening to sports especially watching Baseball games on TV. Survivors include one brother, Carl Killion of Coffeyville and step-mother, Maxine Killion of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Michael Eugene Killion who died in a airplane crash in 1976. A Memorial Graveside Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday (March 8, 2008) in Fairview Cemetery with Dr. Wayne Norton of the First Baptist Church officiating. Inurnment will follow. Friends may sign the register book on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. Cremation has taken place. David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville is in charge of arrangements.
