Florence Myers, 86, of Coffeyville, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2012 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.
She was born May 10, 1925 at Joplin, MO to Elery and Effiy (Forkner) Weiser. She grew up and attended school in Joplin graduating from Joplin High School.
Florence made her home in Wichita from 1972 until moving to Coffeyville in 2000.
On February 19, 1968 she married George Myers, he preceded her in death in 2002.
Survivors include one granddaughter, Melissa Adey and husband Newt of Independence; and two great-granddaughters, Shea Casurole, and Sydney Adey, and one great-granddaughter, Saige Rock.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one son, Dee Messer.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville.
Friends may call on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
