Obituary of Charles Patterson

Coffeyville - Charles Patterson, 85, of Coffeyville passed away February 14, 2012 at the Medicalodge of Coffeyville. He was born on August 25, 1926 in Parsons, KS to Charles Jr. and Jessie (Maclean) Patterson. Charles grew up and attended schools in Parsons. In 1944 he joined the U.S. Navy; he served four years in the Navy before returning to Parsons. Charles moved to Coffeyville in the early 50's. Charles was a member of the Assembly of God Church and the VFW. He was the director of the Boy's Club which he became very passionate about. He also truly enjoyed fishing; many times he would take the whole Boy's Club fishing with him. Survivors include two daughters; Patrice Talbott-Muller of Coffeyville and Charlay and husband Jason Goff of Fayetteville, AR., four grandchildren; Torrey Talbott of Coffeyville, Corey Talbott of Dewy, OK, Jayde Goff of Fayetteville, AR and Phoebe Goff of Fayetteville, AR, two great grandchildren; Ailie and Logan Talbott. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Private Services will take place at a later date.
