Lisa Sue Strimple Jacobs, 50, passed away Monday, February 13, 2012 at the Audrain Medical Center in Mexico, MO.
She was born July 13, 1961 at Coffeyville to Lyman Dean and Elaine (Bergman) Strimple. Lisa grew up and attended school in Coffeyville graduating from Field Kindley High School.
She married Terry Jacobs and he survives at the home.
When she was young she attended the First Baptist Church in Coffeyville.
Survivors include her husband, Terry of the home; one daughter, Jamie Ellsworth of South Coffeyville, OK; one son, Michael Strimple and wife Hanna of Liberty; her mother, Elaine Strimple of Afton, OK; one brother, Dean Strimple and wife Karen of Coffeyville; and two grandchildren, Jadyn Ellsworth and Paige Strimple.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2012 in the Liberty Cemetery at Libery, KS with Rev. Gerald Morris officiating.
Friends may call on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
