Coffeyville - Loretta F. Bailey, 88 of South Coffeyville, OK, passed away Friday, December 16, 2011 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. She was born December 14, 1923 at Las Cruces, NM to John and Luella (Maginnis) McAfee. When she was young her family moved to the Lenapah, OK area where she grew up and attended school graduating from Lenapah High School. She married Ross Nunnallee and together they had two children. Mr. Nunnallee preceded her in death in 1970. Loretta later married Jim Bailey, they made their home northwest of Coffeyville for many years. Mr. Bailey preceded her in death in 1991. Following her husband's death she moved to South Coffeyville where she made her home the last 20 years. For many years Loretta helped her sister, Billie Hill at Southland Market in South Coffeyville. In her later years she enjoyed going to the Casino's. Survivors include one son, Duane Nunnallee and his wife Donna of Allen, TX; one brother, John McAfee of Columbia, MO; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Karyn Sue Hayes; three brothers, and two sisters. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville with Rev. John Collins of the First United Methodist Church in Coffeyville officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
