Dads like ours are always hard to let go, Yours the quiet, soft, spoken gentleman ..mine the NOT SO SOFT SPOKEN but still the same kind, giving fathers that gave us the roots and core values to become productive, successful, kind adults. It's men like them that the world is lacking now. I sat with Larry on a bench in downtown Coffeyville a few years ago when a special project was going on and he said to me "you know I really want to be over there helping me, but they told me I had to stay out of the sun" He made me smile.Larry always with a smile..

To Pat and Family, I am forever grateful to LarryHe gave my family the ability to move back to Coffeyville in 1993 where Jim went to work for Muller Construction for over 11 years. Our family was always embraced at Muller 's and I truly believe that Larry was a very important part of that generosity. We are so thankful for being on the receiving end of his kindness and we appreciate all he did for us. We were sad in hearing of his passing but we know that his suffering is no more. May you find peace in the days ahead and may we all never forget what was most important to himfamily and friends.

Lori,
I am so sorry to hear of the death of your dad. He must have been an amazing man to raise three generations of wonderful children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to know the Lord. I am praying for all of you as you go through this sorrow; that God would give you peace and comfort. And what a precious blessing to have Katie, Martin and new little Max there to share in the sorrow but also add a bit of sunshine and hope for the future.
I was hoping to come down for the funeral, but Becky just had her baby boy yesterday, so I am needed here to babysit for two year old Austin until she and little Luke are ready to come home from the hospital. But my heart will be with you there.

As I sit and look out my dining room window at the beautiful pond Larry designed for me, I am blessed to have a daily reminder of the creativity, skill and passion of a great man. That is just a small part of the impact Larry and his wonderful family have had on me and my family. My friend asked me one night as Larry and Pat greeted me in a restaurant, "Who are those precious people?" Their true character was apparent to even those who did not know them. Yes, Larry was a precious man. Ok I guess I can say it now I always thought he was such a handsome man!:). We will miss you greatly.
