Coffeyville - Anna Leigh Ammerman of Coffeyville passed away Feb. 25th the family was notified Feb. 28th. Anna was born March 11th 1977 in Ventura Calif. the daughter of James and Cynthia (Hochhalter) Ammerman. She grew up in California and moved with her family to Coffeyville in May of 1993 she attended Coffeyville Schools. Anna loved to write letters and poems. She studied the Bible with Jehovah Witnesses, her mother had the priviledge to study "The good news of the Kingdom"; Matthew 24:14, Anna's favorite verses were Acts 24:15-16, Luke 8:40-56, Psalms 104:5, 2 Peter 3:13, Isaiah 65:17 and Revelations 21:35. She is survived by her parents, James and Cynthia Ammerman of rural Coffeyville; her daughter, Cheyenne Ammerman of Coffeyville; her brother, James N. Ammerman, Jr. of Coffeyville; her sister Cindy Lou Ammerman of Nowata, Oklahoma; her grandparents, Lawrence and Corrine Hochhalter of rural Coffeyville; special friend, and brother, Hillary Reese of Maple Valley, Washington; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Anna was preceded in death by her son, Garret Wayne Carpenter; and grandparents, Bill and Pat Ammerman. Cremation has taken place, funeral arrangements are pending with the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
