Dr. Thomas J. Kill, 40, of Coffeyville passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011.
He was born July 4, 1971 at Coffeyville to Thomas N. and Linda (Kruschke) Kill. Tom grew up in Coffeyville and attended Holy Name School, Field Kindley High School, and Coffeyville Community College. After completing CCC he attended and graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College.
On May 22, 1993 he married Angela D. Tesh in Coffeyville. While Dr. Kill completed Chiropractic College they made their home in Kansas City, MO. In 1997 they returned to Coffeyville where he opened his Chiropractic practice, due to his health he retired in June 2010.
He was a member of Grace Fellowship, Kansas Chiropractic Association, Kids Hunting for a Cure, National Wild Turkey Federation, and QDMA. He donated his time on the sidelines for Field Kindley High School Football for 10 years, and was a volunteer at Holy Name School.
He enjoyed hunting, archery, fishing, camping, restoring Camero's and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Angela of the home; three daughters, Emily Kill, Lauren Kill, and Abbey Jo Kill all of the home; his parents, Thomas N. and Linda Kill of Coffeyville; one sister, Rebecca Kill of Coffeyville; and one nephew Matthew Kill of Coffeyville.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Fred and Lucille Kruschke; and his paternal grandparents, Karl and Lucille Kill.
A Memorial Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2011 at Grace Fellowship with Rev. Gerald Morris officiating
Friends may sign the register book on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Grace Fellowship, 2455 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, KS.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Tom Kill Fund being established for his family at Community National Bank in Coffeyville; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville
