Judy was a wonderful person and a wonderful teacher. She was so kind and loving and helped the kids she taught with much more than just 'learning'. She will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy to all her family.

I can't say that I spent a lot of time with Judy when I was growing up. I lived in Cherryvale and she was in Coffeyville. Her spirit and charm were absolutely magical! I was so glad to learn that Judy became a successful kindergarten teacher. I can't think of a more appropriate career for her!
Loved the girl,,,, and may her memory reign!

It is hard to say what is in my heart. Judy was an important part of my life all of her life. Growing up together in the George family meant many family get togethers for birthdays and holidays so we knew each other well. There were six girl cousins, close in age, and we had so much fun. I will miss her happy spirit, her emails, her total acceptance of everyone, and her outlook on life of taking whatever comes and dealing with it. Her inspiration on how to deal with life will still be reaching out to me.

Judy sat behind me in church. I always looked forward to seeing her, such a welcome smile. It was a treat to see what she would come up each week for 'childrens time'. I will miss her..

Judy was a fun-loving & sociable person when I met her in first gradeshe never changed. She was with me in the CCC library the first time I ever saw my future husband Bill & was maid of honor at our wedding in 1958.
Judy went through many trials with her health & personal life but she did it with acceptance, confidence & grace. Her happy nature always prevailed. We will treasure our memories.
Sincerely,

We always smile when we remember "the good old days" when our youngsters were in Judy's kindergarten classes. She gave them a super start in formal schoolingand continued to encourage them every single time their paths crossed all through the years.
We were also in several community organizations and church with Judy. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and we accomplished much due to her determination to make Coffeyville an ever better place to live and enjoy.
Blessings to all her other friends, and condolences to all her family.

The Leamans were our neighbors on West Sixth Street in C'ville and one of the first families I babysat for, starting shortly after Mike's birth. Judy was always full of life and left a lasting impression on everyone she met. My sister, mother and I saw Judy at the Drum Corps reunion last June and shared numerous wonderful memories.
She is with those she loves and missed with no more pain and suffering. We look forward to seeing her again!

Judy, my cousin, was such an enthusiastic person. Her favorite thing was to be "on the move", moss definitely did not grow under her feet. One of my favorite memories of Judy was when she, Ron and Mark came to visit us in California and we went to Disneyland together. It was a great time and Judy thoroughly enjoyed the day. Mark, Haley, Will, Megan, Brett and soon to be born Brooke, Judy loved you with all her heart. You were her pride and joy.

Judy was an adventuresome indiviual. Several of us Coffeyville College Red Ravens hang out and had fun together more than 50 years ago.
Am I surprised she went parasailiang and snorkeling? Not at all.
Our pastor occasionally asks the question "When is the last time you did something for the first time?" He challenges us to avoid complacency and to keep life exciting with new experiences.
May the Creator comfort Judy's family and friends during this difficult time.
