Coffeyville -
Well done, good and faithful servant
Tim Boomershine, 41, of Coffeyville, Ks, ran into the arms of Jesus, on June 25, 2011.
His parents, Donald and Helen Boomershine, of Coffeyville Ks, welcomed "Timmy" into their family on September 18, 1969. He was the youngest boy of 7 kids and might have been the "most spoiled"but definitely not the "most ornery"! Those that are blessed to call him brother, Frank Boomershine, David and Michelle Boomershine, Don and Cindy Boomershine, Donna Handshumaker, Billie Boomershine, Nancy and Lance Harrington are filled with memories that will last a lifetime. "Tima Tima Timateo" was the "fun and crazy" uncle to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. "Good Memories"he loved em all!
He grew up in Coffeyville and attended the local schools. He acquired many friends along the way. Each one with stories that could begin with"Remember when Tim did this?" He was a lot of fun and could make just about anyone laugh.
Tim's wife, Cathy, was blessed to marry her best friend on July 15, 1993. He was beyond excellent as a husband and very much loved his wife. They actually liked each other as a person and enjoyed being married to one another. Tim received one of the best gifts from God 17 years ago, a son, Dexter. He has been a tremendous blessing to Tim. Tim loved Dexter and truly enjoyed being his dad. He really loved watching Dexter play sports. It didn't matter what sportand of course, Dexter was the best one out there! Hangin with Dexter was an honor to Tim.
He was a hard-working man and constantly movingSeriously, he couldn't sit still. He was blessed to work for Muller Construction for 15 years. What a wonderful family and splendid place of employment. He was honored to call them friends as well as employers. He enjoyed his work and tried his best to be a "good hand".
Tim accepted Christ as his Savior in the year 1999. He was on fire for the Lord from that moment on. Undoubtedly, many people reading this were touched by Tim's faithfulness to share Jesus. His greatest desire is that all of his family and friends know Jesus Christ personally as Lord and Savior.
The Celebration of Tim's life will be Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. Burial will be in Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville.
