Sedan - Barbara A. Gresham, age 87, of Sedan, Kansas (formerly of Santa Maria, CA) passed away Monday, June 13, 2011 at the Pleasant Valley Manor in Sedan, Kansas.
She was born May 26, 1924 in Santa Maria, California to Ralph Henry and Mildred Elizabeth (Fugler) Bardin. She was raised in Santa Maria, California where she received her education before earning her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of California at Los Angeles.
In 1950 she married Harold Lloyd Gresham in San Francisco, California. They made their home in California until moving to Texas for fifteen years. He preceded her in death in 1985.
In September 2009 she moved to Sedan, Kansas from Santa Maria, California.
She was an avid gardener and also loved to paint using water colors.
She is survived by three daughters; Gail Gresham of Sacramento, California, Annie Gresham of Oakland, California, and Elizabeth Gresham of Sedan, Kansas; one brother Gary Gresham of Buellton, California; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one brother.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held in Santa Maria, California on June 25, 2011.
