Kevin Alan Inman, 47, of rural Tyro, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011 at his home.
He was born September 5, 1963 at Dodge City, KS to Floyd and Darlene (Peyton) Inman. When he was young his family moved to Coffeyville where he grew up and attended school, while he was attending Roosevelt Middle School they moved to Dewey, OK where he completed his education graduating from Dewey High School.
After completing high school he made his home and worked in the Bartlesville, OK area.
On November 2, 1995 he married Rhonda Posey at Independence. Following their marriage they made their home in the Caney and Tyro area and he worked as a Supervisor at Cessna Aircraft.
Kevin was a member of the Tyro Christian Church. He enjoyed fishing, sports and spending time working in his yard.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda of the home; two daughters, Olivia Inman of Dewey, OK, and Kandace Inman of the home; two stepdaughters, Alexandria Dressler, Jessica Dressler both of the home; his father, Floyd Inman of Caney, his mother, Darlene Inman of Caney; one brother, Larry Countryman, Jr. of Coffeyville; and three sisters, Tammie Patterson of Galena, Kimberly Kizzire of Coffeyville; and Shelia Clapp of Edna.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at the Tyro Christian Church in Tyro with David Bycroft officiating. Burial will be in Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville.
Friends may call on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family will receive friends on Monday from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to the Tyro Christian Church; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
