Obituary of Inis Jones

Coffeyville - Inis Jones, 83, of Coffeyville, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014, at her home. She was born on June 7, 1930 at Lenapah, OK to Elmer and Nellie (Raney) Strope. Inis grew up and attended school in South Coffeyville, OK and graduated from Lenapah High School. Inis married Darwin Jones at Coffeyville. Following their marriage they made their home in Coffeyville. Inis was employed at Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. for 40 years retiring in 1993. Her husband preceded her in death on April 9, 1993. Inis was a member of Grace Fellowship. Survivors include one son, Ralph Jones and his wife Terri of Coffeyville. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 21, 2014 at Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville with Pastor Doug Mund officiating. Friends may call on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
