Sharon Marie Kudrick, 67, of Coffeyville, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, OK.
Sharon was born May 13, 1943 at Coffeyville, to Eugene Paul and Ramona (Ripley) Childress. She grew up in the Cedar Bluff area north of Coffeyville, where she attended Cedar Bluff school. Sharon graduated from Field Kindley High School in 1961.
On December 2, 1962 she married Chuck Kudrick at Coffeyville. Following their marriage they made their home and raised their family in Coffeyville.
For a number of years Sharon and her daughter, Sherri owned and operated the Stuf't Shirt a clothing store located in the Downtown Mall in Coffeyville.
She loved her church home Grace Fellowship in Coffeyville, and was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, PEO Chapter DR, an Investment Club and Birthday Club. Sharon loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Chuck of the home; one daughter, Sherri Sykes of Coffeyville; two sons, Mike Kudrick, and Kelly Kudrick both of Coffeyville; her mother, Ramona Childress of Coffeyville; one sister, Patsy Burdett of Cypress, TX; six grandchildren, Stephanie Schneickert, Joey Sykes, Kendall Kudrick, Kassidy Kudrick, Garrett Kudrick, and Aubrey Bailey; and two great-grandsons, Henry Schneickert, and Oliver Schneickert.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Childress and one sister, Connie Thomas.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Grace Fellowship, 2455 Woodland Ave. in Coffeyville with Rev. Gerald Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
Friends may sign the register book on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville; following Sharon's wishes the casket will be closed.
The family suggests memorials to Grace Fellowship; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
