Obituary of Clara Alice Osburn

Sedan - Clara Alice Osburn, age 88 of Dewey, Oklahoma formerly of Peru, KS, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at the Forest Manor in Dewey, Oklahoma. She was born on October 31, 1922 in Copan, Oklahoma to William Henry and Verna (Fetters) Mastin. She was raised in Copan, attending and graduating from Copan High School. She moved to Peru, Kansas in 1965 where she worked as a store clerk at the grocery store in Peru. She worked there until her retirement. She then moved to Dewey, Oklahoma in 2005 where she has made her home since. She was a member of the Peru Christian Church and also played the piano there for many years. She also was a member of the Peru Senior Citizens. She enjoyed sewing, playing the piano at church, visiting family, and gardening. She is survived by two daughters; Karen (Fellner) Martin of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Mary (Fellner) Cross of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; one son, Robert Willbanks of Layton, Utah; One step-son, Ron Fellner of St. Petersburg, Florida; Seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, one brother, and her parents Church services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 11, 2010 at the Peru Christian Church with Jerry Hix officiating. Burial will follow at the Peru Cemetery in Peru, Kansas The family has suggested memorial contributions to the Sedan VFW Post #6373 and these remembrances may be left in care of David W.
