Obituary of Karen L. Scott

Sedan - Karen L. Scott, age 68, of Dewey, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, August 19, 2010 at the Forrest Manor Nursing Home in Dewey, Oklahoma. She was born May 14, 1942 in Golden City, Missouri to Vernon and Mary (Hall) Wry. She attended school in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She married Franke Scott in 1960 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. They later divorced. She worked as a dishwasher at Murphy's Restaurant in Bartlesville, Oklahoma for many years. She enjoyed playing Bingo and Skipbo. She is survived by one daughter, Leora Scullawl of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; two sons, Joe Scott of Virginia and Glen Scott of Dewey, Oklahoma; two sisters, Ina Spiller and Janet Lehman, both of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; one brother, Marvin Wry of Kansas City, Missouri; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Franke Scott and one brother, Ronald Wry. Cremation has taken place and no service is planned at this time.
