Coffeyville -
Gladys Marie Nace, 90, of Coffeyville passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.
She was born December 9, 1919 at Culbertson, Nebraska, to Roscoe Klem and Mary Lois (Shilinger) Fisher. She moved to Wellington, Colorado with her family where she completed her education graduating from Wellington High School.
On October 16, 1936 she married Clarence Alfred Nace at Wellington, CO. Following their marriage they made their home in Wellington. Mr. Nace preceded her in death in 1987. Mrs. Nace continued to live in Wellington until moving to Coffeyville two and a half years ago to be closer to her daughter.
Mrs. Nace was a member of the Wellington Federated Church, after moving to Coffeyville she attended the Dearing Christian Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Katherine Brott of Coffeyville; three sons, Alfred Nace of Liberty, MO, Roy Nace of Loveland, CO, and Charles Nace of Portland, OR; one sister, Elsie Huitt of Greeley, CO; 16 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 33 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Robert Nace, one brother, and four sisters.
A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2010 in the Dearing Christian Church with Pastor Jamie Regis officiating.
Another Memorial Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 10, 2010 in the Wellington, Colorado Community Church with Rev. Dan Gardinier officiating.
Inurnment will be at a later date in Wellington, CO.
Friends may sign the register book on Monday, August 2, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
