Michael D. Collins, 47, of Coffeyville, went to join the Lord, on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at his home.
He was born November 14, 1962 in Wichita, KS to Donald and Darlene Collins. Michael loved to fish, build model cars, and was a dedicated Oklahoma University fan.
Michael was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, LaChele Bingaman and husband Zack of Tulsa, OK, Stephanie Yi and husband Key of Austin, TX; his mother, Darlene Collins of Coffeyville; seven sisters, Sandra Benning, Leona Chapman, Ruth Ann Collins, Betty Smith, and Sandra Henry all of Coffeyville, Nellie Goodwin of Oklahoma, and Sharon Felton of Independence; four brothers, Jimmy Collins of Independence, Donald Collins and Larry Collins both of Coffeyville, and Peter Collins of Oklahoma; three grandchildren; and his best buddy Lori Lee Byrd of Coffeyville.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Collins, a niece, a nephew, a great-niece, and a great-nephew.
A Memorial Graveside Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville with Dr. Wayne Norton officiating. Cremation has taken place.
