Kyle Allen Phelan, 39, formerly of Coffeyville passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Tulsa, OK.
Kyle was born on June 27, 1970 at Coffeyville to Cheryl (Frisbie) and Dennis Phelan. He grew up and attended school in Coffeyville.
For the past 20 years Kyle resided in Tulsa, OK and was employed as an independent flooring contractor.
Survivors include his four children, Tiffany Byers of Olathe, KS, Katheryne Nicole Thomason of Bartlesville, OK, Corey Thomason of Tulsa, OK, and Bobbi Jean Phillips of Coffeyville; his mother, Cheryl Baunhofer of Coffeyville; his father Dennis Phelan and wife Sue of Broken Arrow, OK; sister, Ashley Baunhofer Saeler and husband Aaron of Neosho, MO, and Denise Phelan of Broken Arrow, OK; brother, Johnnie Lee Phelan of Broken Arrow, OK; seven grandchildren, one niece, one nephew, numerous close friends, and beloved dog, Baron.
Kyle was preceded in death by his step-father, Gary Baunhofer; grandparents, Russell and Juanita Frisbie, and Ira and Lue Phelan.
Memorial Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2010 at the Fairview Cemetery Veterans Memorial Patio in Coffeyville with David Bycroft of Tyro Christian Church officiating.
Friends may sign the register book on Friday, May 28, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
The family suggests memorials to D.A.R.E.; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
