Sedan - Wilma Louise Froese, age 81, of Moline, Kansas passed away early Tuesday morning, January 8, 2008 at the Pleasant Valley Manor Nursing Home in Sedan, Kansas. She was born September 2, 1926 in Milan, Tennessee. She worked as a clerk at the local gas station in Moline. She married Johnny Joe Froese on April 26, 1948 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. They moved to the Moline area in 1952. He preceded her in death on December 25, 1974. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Moline. She enjoyed fishing, cooking and entertaining company. She is survived by one son, Johnny Joe Froese and wife Jean of Arlington, Texas; one daughter, Betty Jo Martin and husband Mike of Lawrence, Kansas; one brother, Kenneth Price of Oklahoma; one sister, Marie Fagan of Guthrie, Oklahoma and one half sister, Charlotte Easton; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Johnny and one brother. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at the Moline Cemetery with Harry Hynes Hospice Chaplain Mike Graham officiating. The family has suggested memorial contributions to the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and these remembrances may be left in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 209 N. Douglas Street, Sedan, Kansas 67361.
