We are so sorry for your loss. Chad was a wonderful man. Bertha Lanning remembers him wanting to get a peacock feather to take home to Helen. Uncle Dale and Aunt Merle thought the world of him. He would always offer you a ride if you were walking somewhere. He was a great Father, Soldier, Nephew-that is how we think of him, he will be missed by many. Derrald and Linda

May God comfort your family at this difficult time. Chad was one of my best friends and I will miss him dearly. We always stopped to chat where ever we'd met and he always had a hug for me. He has always had a special place in my heart and always will. I look back on our time together and remember all of the wonderful times we had. While he was in Iraq he would call me every week to check up on me. I looked forward to his calls and I wrote to him often while he was away. The world will never be the same without Chad's smile. He was a wonderful man and a dear friend.

It was so shocking to hear of Chad's death. He was a permanent fixture in our home through high school since my older brother David (Dozier) and he were best friends. It feels as if a member of our extended family is gone. Our whole family was involved with the kids when they were little. It is truely a great loss of a wonderful man!!!

Dear Earl and Helen,
I am so sorry to hear the sad, sad news about the death of your precious son. It is particularly disturbing to have a child leave this world before the parent-I feel this is "out of order." Please know that we are grieving with you and pray for your comfort as you work through this loss.
