I have had the pleasure of knowing this wonderful woman for 40 years, she was like a family member to us. As a child growing up and spending time out at Julia's in IXL, I wouldn't trade those memories for anything. From picking cherries to playing in the "south 40 as she called it to sitting around the table enjoying a meal of different foods I'd never had before. Dad and I would take trips to Sedan to see Julia when she left Ark City and I always enjoy our time together. She touched my heart and I can say I'm a better person for knowing this fine lady. My condolences to her family, I'm sorry for your loss ~ She was an amazing woman.

Sorry to hear of Julie passing. She was a beautiful person and taught me a lot. I worked with her when I worked at the lab. She gave me Jonthan Livingston Sea Gull to read over and over that helped me through tuff spots.

I'm so sorry to learn of Julia's passing. She was a beautiful lady in all ways. Julia was a good friend to my mother (Marjory Casement) when she lived in Sedan and I remember them going on various trips together and checking out estate sales for possible bargains. She will be missed by many. God bless her and her family.
