Obituary of Theresa Lynn Ellis

Coffeyville - Theresa Lynn "Tee" Ellis, 41, of Coffeyville, passed away Friday (January 4, 2007) at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. She was born December 16, 1966 at Killeen, Texas to Henry and Nola Loretta (Brakebill) Tickle. She grew up in Killeen where she attended school, graduating from Killeen High School. She moved to Coffeyville with her family in 1994. After moving to Coffeyville she attended SEK Vo-Tech where she took business courses and received certification as a computer technician. Tee was employed at Four County Mental Health for over five years where she worked providing attendant care for students in grade school; she left that position last year. She was a member of Amazing Grace Chapel where she was a Sunday School Teacher. Survivors include one daughter, Stacie-Lynn Shannon Ellis of Coffeyville; her parents Henry and Nola Tickle of Coffeyville; two brothers, Melvin Tickle of Coffeyville and Elvin and Latisha Tickle of South Coffeyville; her paternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Mary and John Douglas of Coffeyville and her paternal step-grandmother, Liz Tickle of Dearing. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday (Jan. 10, 2008) at the Amazing Grace Chapel with Pastor Gary Stevens officiating; burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery north of Coffeyville. Friends may call on Wednesday (Jan. 9, 2008) from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville is in charge of arrangements.
