Obituary of Seth N. Basler

Sedan - Seth Newton Basler aka Ton Ton, Foofer, age 4, son of Johnathon Basler and Danessa Crosby passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at the Sedan City Hospital in Sedan. Seth was born on February 13, 2009 at Pratt, Kansas to Johnathon Basler and Danessa Rae Crosby. Seth attended Sedan Elementary Pre-School in Sedan. He never met a stranger and loved to be around all people and loved to play. Survivors include his parents, Johnathon Basler of Sedan, Kansas, and girlfriend, Robin Kidoo; mother, Danessa Crosby and husband Steven Oathout of Hutchison, Kansas; Step-mom, Michelle Prue, Coldwater, Kansas; four brothers, Spencer White, Jasper Oathout, Andrew Brown, Aidan Prue; three sisters; Angel Basler, Larissa Bright, and Suzzie Thompson; maternal grandparents; Debbie and Beaumont Lowe; paternal grandparents; Ellyse Basler, Tim Basler, Clay Beckenholdt, Helen Duran, and Gary Crosby; great-grandparent, Max Beckenholdt; numerous aunts and uncles and family. He is preceded in death by one Uncle Justin, Great-Grandpa Dennis Ware and cousin Claudia Sawin. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Sedan, Kansas with Reverend Gene DeWitt officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Creek Cemetery, Northwest of Cedar Vale, Kansas. Memorials are suggests to the Seth Basler Memorial Fund c/o David W.
