I wish to express my deepest sympathy to the family. Coach Mann was one of my favorite teachers in High School. I have such fond memories of him. My prayers are with you all at this time of loss.

Monte & family, I am so sorry for your loss of your Dad. I am sorry I did not get a chance to meet me Mr. Lewis but in reading his story he was a great man! I am sure that God needed a Great Coach and need him on his team. May God be at each the side of each of you at this time and God will fill each of you with his love & peace.

Mrs. Mann, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Coach Mann. He taught me to drive in the summer of 1969. My memory of him is his humor. I recall a statement he made following a conversation about the upcoming birth of your child, "when the baby is born and if it is a girl we will name her Ima, get it? Ima Mann." He will besides but has left many with lasting memories. Our prayers are with all of the Mann family.

May GOD put his arms around each of you in your time of need. Coach was a wonderful person and greatly influenced my life. My greatest memory was when he came to a meal I had prepared in Home Economics class in high school. He will be greatly missed.

Oh how I loved this man. Never a discouraging word, quite the opposite. Except for the time I suited up and went out for football practice, and he told me to go change out and be a girl. He taught me to drive my 16th summer, I always carried aspirin as I knew by the time we got halfway through the day he would have a headache and be asking for one.
I pray that the Good Lord lift you up in your time of sorrow.

Dean called last night and was so sorry to hear of Coach Mann's passing. Please accept Phoebe and I's sincere sympathy as we keep you in our thoughts and prayers. I still remember the smile and the laugh from all those years ago when he coached us in high school and later I had the opportunity to play for him in college at Chanute. Nell & family, I am so sorry for your loss. Lewis was a great man! I enjoyed seeing him every Sunday, he was always very positive & would say he was doing well even when you could tell he must not feel well. Always a smile on his face. Such a delightful person, I am sure he is feeling better than he ever has in glory today but am sadden for his family left on earth. Lifting you all up in prayers, praying Gods love & peace fills your heart.
