Marilyn and Family,
I'm so sorry to learn of your mother's death. I remember Lorene from when I grew up in Sedan, especially spending time with Nancy next door at the Wall house. She was an amazing lady, even up to two years ago when I last spoke with her. She was sitting outside on her porch when I arrived at the Wall house, so I went over and talked with her for a bit. It was hard believe she was well into her nineties! One of the things I'll always remember about Lorene was the beautiful "doll" cakes she made for Nancy's birthdays. They were delicious and wonderful works of art! I know you also have many wonderful memories and I hope that they provide comfort to you in the days ahead.
