Uncle James and Aunt Vera were some of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. They will always be in my Heart. As I told Hubba, I think it was a miracle that they were taken to Heaven on the day that we celebrate the birth of Christ, being the Christians that they were. I envision Jesus, calling uncle James home that Morning, and uncle James saying "Please Lord, I can't go with out my Vera" and then the two of them calling aunt Vera and saying "Vera, lets go Home." And together, as they have been for so many years, they stepped into Glory. Our Love to all of our family, Bill & Kim Cotton

Pappy was always much more to me than an uncle. I looked up to him, admired and respected him. He was the gentle man of the house, the calming to all of the chaos that all of us made. He was the man that tried to "save" RaDonna and me whenever Mom would try to reprimand us. I can still hear him tell her "They are still youngens." He was a passionate man, always putting family first. And that included all of us. I will cherish all the memories I have of him.
