I was saddened hear of Gary's passing. I became acquanted with Gary at the Wann Alumni reunions. He was a classmate of my Uncle Richard Compston. You could tell Uncle Richard thought the world of him. I came to know him as a very personable gentlemen. I always enjoyed our visits at the reunions and while he was volunteering at the Dalton Defenders Museum. My sincere condolences.

Gayla, Ronda, and Misti, I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He was a really nice man. I always liked him. I don't think I ever heard him raise his voice in anger or get upset. (Not counting when he was coaching softball)

I am so sorry to hear of Gary's passing, I have some very fond memories of Gary and Shirley when I worked at the Credit Union they were always a joy to work with along with their three daughters and other family members.
