Dear Family,
We are so sorry to hear of Edie's death, but are joyous that she is out of pain and with her Heavenly Father. Edie was a literal "earth angel" and a wonderful friend. She was an excellent church secretary and was a blessing to St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Coffeyville for many years. May God bless you all as you continue in the journey for the Lord, a journey that Edie finished in good faith. "Well done, good and trusting servant." Happy Easter to Maurice and family.

What a wonderful woman Edie was, I had the pleasure to know this woman and she was very kind to everyone. We have know each other many years, I had sold her a van this past year that she really liked very much. She thanked me more than once for finding it for her and making her such a great "deal" on it. She will be missed and I send her family the message they already know that she was a good woman, and will be missed by many. Edie will be watching over us in the heavens above.

Our hearts go out to Maurice, children & family. We have good memories of Edie for having worked for us at the Townsman Motel as a desk clerk.
She is in her new home with the Lord. She will be missed by all those who knew her.

I'm so sorry for the loss of Aunt Edie. I'm so thankful her struggle is over and she's with the Lord. I'm so happy she'll be able to take up her painting again and she won't have any more pain. I'm so thankful I was able to tell her that I love her so much before her passing. I love you Aunt Edie.

My Sweet Mom,
I am so blessed to have been your daughter. You have touched so many lives and will be so very missed by so very many people. I wish I could see the excitement and wonder in your eyes and in your face. You no longer have those scars. Now, your beautiful red hair curls and lays exactly the way you want it to. Your knees no longer hurt....your beautiful body is completely perfect.
Now you can paint those beautiful scenes like you always wanted to, and you can sit there and paint as long as you want to...no more earthly responsibilities.
I will see you in every sunrise, every sunset, every cloud, every raindrop, every snowflake, every bird, every flower.
You will not be forgotten...I promise.

Mom,
My heart is so full of joy for you knowing that your struggle is over. NEVER again will you suffer the way you have these past several months. I know that your reward is great and I know that you are bowing at the feet of Jesus and worshipping Him in true perfection for the first time ever.
And at the same time my heart is crushed with grief knowing that I will never see you sitting in your pew next to Rebekkah, sitting at the table in our Sunday night discussions looking up word and phrase meanings. We will not have our daily discussions about Sunday School lessons, or sermon ideas, or talking about job situations, kids, etc.
I will miss you so very much but I wouldn't trade anything to bring you back. You have finished your race and we down here are running to catch you. Hit that high note momma like you always heard it in your head.
