During her last days she was cared for by Jim and Beth Crutchfield and the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Chi Omega Sorority, and a volunteer for the Girl Scouts of America, Coffeyville Regional Medical Center and American Red Cross Pioneer Chapter in Coffeyville. She was a Red Cross water safety and swimming instructor for nearly 40 years and served on the Disaster Recovery Team. Jean enjoyed traveling with family and friends, playing bridge and other card games, gardening, fishing and riding her bicycle.
