Lois Maurine Treadway of Edna, KS, former owner of the Dairy Sweet in Coffeyville, died October 23, 2015 in the Labette Health in Parsons. She was born September 23, 1924, to Tom and Marion (Hahn) Vance.
She married Marion L. Stice in 1941. They had three children: Clifford L., Thomas F. and Geraldine Onslager.
Maurine was divorced in 1960 and raised and supported her three children by working at the Dairy Sweet.
In March 1974, she married the love of her life, Don Treadway of Valeda, Kansas. They purchased and operated the Dairy Sweet through the 1980's.
Maurine was preceded in death by her parents, her son Thomas, and husband Don Treadway. She is survived by her two children, Clifford and Geraldine, step-children Bob and Nancy Treadway, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Elm Grove North Edna Cemetery under the direction of David W. Barnes funeral home of Coffeyville, Kansas.
