Mike and Julia:
So sorry to hear of Don's passing. I always enjoyed reading his weekly articles in the newspaper. I was in his physical science class in 1966 and I will always remember how kind he was to us "slow learners". That was a mandatory class. We had a short visit with him and your Mother on May 3 while we were at Sirloin Stockade restaurant. Little did anyone know that would be the last time we would visit. Our daughter, Darla Darby Finn, had a class with him and he had her write one article for the local newspaper. Besides teaching, he gave students various opportunities to expand their learning. Our community will miss him!

So sorry to hear of Don's passing. What a great guy he was. He taught a bunch of guys from John Deere how to use computers several years ago. I know this was not easy, but Don put up with us. Will miss seeing him every morning at Eggberts for breakfast.

Mr.Lind was a wonderful person, I have seen him volunteering a lot at Holy Name. He always joked with my son when he was on lunch duty and talked about Math. Coffeyville holy Name community will surely miss him.

Brenda & family, I was shocked & saddened when I learned of Don's sudden passing. I met him at CCC as he was my instructor for two classes and advisor for at least one of the group's I was a member of. It seemed like our paths crossed many times and it didn't take long before we were friends. My last conversation with him was fairly recently when I told him how much I enjoyed his columns in the newspaper and commented that I had saved several of them as they brought back memories or they were especially touching.
My prayers are with you as you struggle with your loss but I know the memories of his sweet nature and his humor will comfort you.
