Wallie was a friend since 1965 when we met at Emporia State Teachers College. We roomed together with two others friends for two years. During that time we became good friends. I remember fondly invitations to the Maxson's cabin on Grand Lake.
Wallie was a very kind and easy going person. We maintain contact with each other over the years. He will be missed by my family and those that knew him. My prayers and sympathy go to the entire Maxson family and especially to Connie.

I knew Wallie. He was one year ahead of me in grade school. He was always a very nice boy. I am so sorry for your loss.
