Mary, I am so sorry to hear of Don's death. My dad Frank Smith who worked with Don at Junge's Bakery and my mom Dorothy Smith who worked for you at your health food store, spoke highly of both of you.

In 1960 we rented our first apartment upstairs in Don and Marys home, We still drive by the place when we are up in the area we still remember it as kinda special after all these years,We are retired now in South Fl. And yes we still remember Don and Mary.

Mary and Brenda,
Our prayers have been with Don and you, but we know that now Don is free from all his earthly struggles and our Heavenly Father has welcomed him home. God does give us Peace and Comfort during these times, and we pray that He will wrap His arms around you and strengthen you until that time you can find joy in all the wonderful memories you created with him.

I loved Don and will never be far from my mind. he taught me so much. I used to go with him on his bread route when I young and helped him mow his yards. he always made me laugh and he taught me a work ethic I would have never. God Bless you Donald Rex Bookter

I never met Mr. Bookter personally but I feel like I grew to know him through all the kind words spoken of him by his beautiful daughter, Brenda.
