Dear Marvin & family of Marty,
I’m so sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you today and the following days. I loved Marty and her sweet, kind, caring, loving & beautiful spirit. She was precious to our family and to our mom, Marie Hildreth. She took care of her home and provided great love and companionship after our step father’s death. Marty was always so dependable and willing to help whenever we needed her, loyal and faithful to our entire family, even after our mom’s death. She continued to care for our home and check on things and made sure it was like “home” when we came back to get together and to prepare for the sale. She was also very instrumental in helping us get it sold. Marty had a great sense of humor and I loved seeing the sparkle in her eyes as she joked and smiled. She was always interested in our family and how we were doing, even in her last days in the hospital, asking about my daughter, Haley, her husband Will and even my little 2 year old granddaughter, Sarenna. She had such a light and joyful spirit and that’s because of her love for Jesus. She talked about him and wanting all of her family to know him in her last few weeks. I’m honored that I got some precious last moments talking and praying with her over the phone. Marty was a true example of how Jesus loved...caring for others before herself and she did that well. She believed in miracles and this is a joyful day for her as she experiences the miracle of being with Jesus face-to-face, probably dancing around with my mom and all of our loved ones who knew Jesus.

Martha was a cousin and dear friend. She was our caregiver and worked taking care of us for over 8 years. We loved her and will miss her very much.
